Discover the splendour of Patagonia on horseback, in an experience that blends adventure, tradition, and the serene charm of rural Patagonian life.
The adventure begins with a shared transfer that will pick you up directly from your accommodation. After a short journey, you’ll arrive at the heart of Estancia 25 de Mayo, a place where history, tradition, and nature converge. There, your guide will welcome you with a briefing about the activity and provide you with all the necessary equipment to make the most of this experience.
The horseback journey will set off from the ranch’s old corrals, heading south through the Cañadón del Arroyo Calafate. Along the way, you’ll cross sparkling crystal-clear streams and marvel at the unique geological formations that unfold as you ascend into this pristine corner of Patagonia.
After approximately an hour and a half of riding, you’ll reach the mystical Arroyo Cave, a natural shelter that provides the perfect setting to enjoy a traditional countryside lunch, lovingly prepared by the gauchos leading this journey. Surrounded by the serenity of the landscape, you’ll have the chance to unwind and immerse yourself in the essence of Patagonian rural life.
Later, we’ll make our way back to the main house of the estancia, where a transfer will take you back to your accommodation in El Calafate.
