Spend a day discovering the Perito Moreno Glacier from both land and water!
Walk along scenic walkways that offer incredible views from every angle, and then get even closer with a boat trip along the glacier’s towering southern face. Watch in awe as massive ice chunks break away and crash into the lake—a mesmerising display of nature’s power.
Your journey starts with a scenic drive from El Calafate, where a shared transfer will pick you up from your hotel. As you travel 80 km through the stunning Patagonian steppe, take in the vast open landscapes while your guide shares fascinating stories about the region’s history, glaciers, and local traditions.
Arriving at Los Glaciares National Park, you’ll have time to explore the network of walkways that wind through the forest and along the cliffs, offering breathtaking views of the glacier from different heights and angles. Every turn reveals a new perspective of this incredible ice giant.
To top off the experience, you’ll board a boat for a one-hour navigation through the icy waters surrounding the glacier. From the water, you’ll get an up-close look at the ice walls, which rise up to 70 metres high, shimmering in shades of blue and white. The boat slows down and pauses on the water at key viewpoints, giving you plenty of time to take in the beauty of this frozen wonder.
After an unforgettable day, you’ll return to El Calafate in a transfer that will take you back to your accommodation.
