Early in the morning, a shared transfer will take you from your hotel in El Calafate to Punta Bandera Port, where you’ll board a catamaran and set sail across the Lago Argentino. As you navigate towards Estancia Cristina, you’ll marvel as you get up close to the towering icebergs of the Upsala Glacier.
Upon arrival at the estancia, you’ll be welcomed by your guide before setting off on a two-and-a-half-hour trek to the stunning Cascada Los Perros. Along the way, you’ll discover hidden spots with breathtaking panoramic views, offering a true immersion into the untouched wilderness of Patagonia.
After working up an appetite, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at the estancia’s quincho before setting out to explore its historic surroundings. Visit the charming chapel, step inside the original ranch house, and wander through the museum to gain insight into the rich heritage of this remote settlement.
As the day draws to a close, you’ll board the catamaran for the return journey, sailing back across the lake before a transfer takes you back to El Calafate.
