This journey offers you an authentic and peaceful experience in the heart of the Patagonian steppe: a trek that will take you through untouched landscapes where you can admire geological formations as well as native flora and fauna, before ending the journey with a meal at a traditional Patagonian ranch.
To begin this adventure, you’ll be picked up directly from your accommodation in a 4×4 vehicle, which will take you 3 km south to the starting point of the trek.
You’ll follow a trail along the course of the Arroyo Calafate, nestled between hills that form a natural canyon, offering you the perfect shelter from the wind. As you progress, you’ll immerse yourself in untouched landscapes, where every step brings you closer to discovering fascinating geological formations and a rich variety of typical flora and fauna.
At the end of the 7 km trek, you’ll arrive at Puesto La Sección de Estancia 25 de Mayo, where a hearty lunch awaits—an ideal way to cap off your outdoor adventure.
You’ll return to El Calafate in the same transfer, carrying with you unique impressions of this marvellous region.
