The adventure begins early in the morning with a 70 km shared transfer to Puerto Bajo las Sombras, the starting point for a journey across the Brazo Rico of Lago Argentino. The boat ride, lasting approximately 20 minutes, will take you to the opposite shore, directly in front of the southern face of the Perito Moreno Glacier.
From there, you’ll embark on a 30-minute walk through a scenic trail that leads to the glacier’s edge. Here, you’ll have the rare opportunity to touch the ancient ice and marvel at its mesmerizing hues and intricate formations—a truly magical moment for all nature enthusiasts.
The return journey to the boat is equally enchanting, taking around 90 minutes along the lake’s shore and through a vibrant, lush forest teeming with Patagonian flora and fauna.
