A shared transfer will collect you from your hotel and take you on a scenic 60 km journey along the iconic “Camino de las Estancias,” leading us to Estancia Nibepo Aike. Here, you will witness an authentic sheep-shearing demonstration and experience traditional gaucho activities. After this immersive experience, you’ll savour a delicious Patagonian lamb barbecue, complemented with fresh salads, drinks, and dessert.
Following lunch, we’ll embark on a boat trip across the Brazo Rico of Lago Argentino, heading to the serene Las Monedas beach. Once there, we’ll enjoy a brief stroll through the forest to reach a secluded viewpoint offering a stunning view of the Glaciar Perito Moreno, accessible only through this exclusive excursion.
After returning to the boat, we’ll continue sailing, taking in the most impressive views of the glacier’s southern face. Here, you’ll be able to indulge in a whisky with glacier ice and chocolates, adding a touch of luxury to the experience.
Our journey concludes at the Bajo de las Sombras port, where we’ll head to the walkways to admire the grandeur of the glacier and its dramatic icefalls, at the least crowded time of the day. Finally, we’ll return to El Calafate, arriving just in time to witness a beautiful Patagonian sunset.
