A transfer will pick you up from your accommodation in El Chaltén and drive you 21 km to the starting point on the riverbank. Upon arrival, your guides will greet you and provide you with dry suits and specialised equipment. They will also teach you the essential paddling techniques and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable adventure.
You’ll kayak along the Río de las Vueltas, known for its calm waters that wind through valleys and mountains. For approximately an hour and a half, each stroke of the paddle will bring you closer to nature. The river offers ever-shifting views of the landscape, revealing Patagonia’s beauty in a way that’s only possible from the water.
At the end of the journey, a vehicle will be waiting to take you back to El Chaltén.
