A shared transfer will pick you up from your hotel to take you along a beautiful gravel road to Lago del Desierto, a pristine location 37 km from El Chaltén.
Upon arrival, the kayak guides will provide you with a dry suit and give you basic instructions on how to use the paddles and communicate with the rest of the group. They’ll also teach you the essential safety guidelines to ensure an enjoyable adventure.
You will kayak on crystal-clear waters for 2 hours, discovering beautiful landscapes: huge mountains, lush forests and hanging glaciers.
After returning to the beach with the kayaks, you will have time for a self-guided walk before the transfer take you back to town.
You can walk the trails around the lake and only if you decide to visit the Glaciar Huemul viewpoint, an entrance fee is required, which is not included in the excursion price.
