This is Walk Patagonia’s most complete trekking programme. It offers a truly unique and unforgettable experience, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in nature in one of the most beautiful places on Earth!
Throughout this tour, we’ve designed routes along a variety of trails, leading you through the most striking mountains, glaciers, lakes, rivers, and valleys in the region. You’ll camp in remote wilderness sites and live unforgettable adventures.
Early in the morning, a transfer will take you to the starting point at the Río Eléctrico bridge. From there, you’ll hike for about 2 hours through the river valley, crossing a beautiful lenga forest until you reach your overnight accommodation at Refugio Piedra del Fraile.
In the afternoon, you’ll embark on a short 3-hour trek to Laguna Pollone, where you can admire the north face of Fitz Roy, the Pollone spire, the Marconi Glacier, and Lago Eléctrico.

On this day, you’ll return to the Río Eléctrico bridge before beginning the hike to Laguna de los Tres, passing by the viewpoint of the Piedras Blancas Glacier.
You’ll reach Camp Poincenot, where a steep ascent begins, leading you to the lagoon with an incredibly close and panoramic view of Mount Fitz Roy.
You’ll return to the camp for your second night, nestled within a beautiful lenga forest, still surrounded by magnificent views of Fitz Roy.

If you get up early, you may be able to see Mount Fitz Roy in a beautiful hue of red, at sunrise.
You’ll hike past the Madre, Hija, and Nieta lagoons until you reach Laguna Torre.
If the wheather is kind, you’ll enjoy lunch on the lagoon’s shore, taking in the indescribable scenery.

– Elevation: 200m gain
You’ll start the day’s trek by crossing a zip line over the Fitz Roy River, then continue through a beautiful forest, climbing the steep slope of Cerro Pliegue Tumbado towards the Paso de Las Agachonas.
Here, you’ll be rewarded with one of the most spectacular views in the entire national park: the valley of Cerro Torre and the Fitz Roy massif.
At the end of the day, you’ll descend into the Río Túnel valley until you reach Laguna Toro camp.

Early in the morning, you’ll skirt around Laguna Toro and cross another river using a zip line. You’ll traverse a variety of terrains: grasslands, scree, moraines, and even walk on the ice of the Lower Túnel Glacier as you gain altitude to reach Paso del Viento.
From this vantage point, you’ll take in breathtaking views of the Southern On your final day of trekking, you’ll make your way back to El Chaltén along a trail that alternates between open areas, high-altitude grasslands, lenga forests, and the Pampa de Las Carretas. You’ll also enjoy stunning views of Lago Viedma, framed by the Patagonian steppe.
You’ll arrive back in El Chaltén in the afternoon.

On your final day of trekking, you’ll make your way back to El Chaltén along a trail that alternates between open areas, high-altitude grasslands, lenga forests, and the Pampa de Las Carretas. You’ll also enjoy stunning views of Lago Viedma, framed by the Patagonian steppe.
You’ll arrive back in El Chaltén in the afternoon.
