An exclusive way of enjoying the landscapes of the Los Glaciares National Park, on board a luxury cruise vessel. Gourmet food, personalised care and a first class service so you can experience the region with all five of your senses.

Itinerary

The Gourmet Glaciers Experience starts early in the morning with transfers from hotels in El Calafate to Punta Bandera Port. Embarkation at 8:30/9:00 am.

Our voyage commences in a northeasterly direction, passing Punta Avellaneda and Boca del Diablo, which, at 800 m wide, form the narrowest part of the lake. After sailing for two hours, a succession of icebergs in a wide range of shapes and colours tells us that we are getting close to the spectacular Upsala Glacier, and we make a stop as close to the glacier as we can safely get.

Our cruise continues in a southerly direction on Lake Argentino and we take the Spegazzini Channel to visit its namesake glacier. Our vessel allows us to get impressively close to this mass of ice, whose walls tower up to 135 m above the lake.

Lunch is served with this marvellous landscape as a backdrop. Later in the afternoon the Leal takes us to Puesto de las Vacas, an extremely calm bay in the Spegazzini Channel, where we disembark to stretch our legs on a very beautiful and interesting stroll, during which, among other activities, we visit an old pioneer outpost. This part of the tour is coordinated by our team of guides.

Finally, we start our return along the Northern Arm of the lake and arrive at La Soledad Private Port at Punta Bandera at approximately 6:30 pm, where we disembark and take road transport back to El Calafate.

Note: Route subject to modifications as deemed appropriate by the captain to ensure the safety and comfort of the passengers

The Leal was refurbished in 2010 to adapt its interior, ensuring that our new experience is as enjoyable as possible. It has space for a maximum of 28 passengers. Its main lounge, with panoramic windows, is fitted with five comfortable tables for 4 and 6 people. From here, passengers can go outside onto the prow and stern decks and can access the large upper deck.
